Centigen Soft invests in Georgian IT Company, Apollo 11

We are delighted to announce that in December 2020, Centigen Soft acquired a majority shareholding in leading Georgian software company, Apollo 11.

This investment is the first of its kind between a UK consultancy business and Georgian software development agency. It is expected that the new agreement will not only serve to enhance the capabilities and service delivery of both companies but will also have a positive impact on the development of the Georgian digital sector within international markets.

Through this investment, Centigen will be able to expand its capacity to deliver digital transformations projects for corporations across a number of international markets. Already a respected name in the technology industry, Apollo 11 will bring considerable expertise in business automation using artificial intelligence (AI), the Internet of Things (IoT) and machine learning.

On the announcement of the new agreement, Berdia Qamarauli, CEO and founder of Centigen Soft, said: “After a long, successful working relationship with the Apollo 11 team, we have decided to become a major shareholder. This will allow us to more closely align our businesses and provide clients around the world with an even more comprehensive and seamless service level. This new partnership comes at the perfect time for Centigen, as we see a fast-growing demand for digital transformation in the marketplace.

Apollo 11 is a business that shares our own commitment to exacting standards and the highest level of compliance. I have no doubt that this acquisition will help us to achieve our ambitions for growth over the coming years.”

Irakli Svanidze, a head partner of Apollo 11, said: “Centigen Soft’s vast IT experience on the one hand and Apollo 11’s highly specialised IT team on the other represents an ideal synthesis that creates a unique opportunity for us to establish ourselves as one of the most competitive players in the international market.

After many years of cooperation, we now have the opportunity to take our partnership with Centigen Soft to the next level. This partnership serves to demonstrate that the extensive experience of our team is a unique resource and an asset that has led to our company’s success. As a result of the agreement, Apollo 11 has transformed into an international company, which will allow us to introduce our Georgian intellectual resources to the international market.”
